

I hope that I have explained this properly! I am hoping that what I'm looking for is possible. Currently, the only way we can collaborate is through the online version, and once we are ready to export, only I am able to do so. Enter the email address and choose if the person can edit or only view the notebook. Click the 3-dot menu on the right side of the item and select Edit. A OneNote Class Notebook content item should now be visible on the course Content page. Select OneNote Class Notebook (Ultra) by clicking its Add content icon. My end goal is to have a collaborative OneNote notebook that allows each user to export the file as an attachment. To share a notebook, click the Share button on the top right. Navigate to your course Content page, click the Add content icon and select Content Market. They can only make changes on the SharePoint link, which is fine but why aren't they able to open it on their OneNote desktop app? But I even tried giving my coworkers full editing access, but they were still unable to edit through the desktop app. I'm assuming this is because I'm the "owner" of the document. Once it is opened online, I am the only one who can edit or open the document through the app. When I share through the desktop app, I can only send a link that takes you to SharePoint online. There are loads of useful keyboard shortcuts that can greatly speed up your OneNote experience.
